Rowell’s is about to celebrate 40 years of business. Our team is incredibly grateful for the support from the community, our customers, and everyone who’s worked at Rowell’s over the past four decades.
But with age comes wisdom, and we’re taking this time to refocus on our business and prepare for the next 40 years! We recently started working with a marketing partner to help us tell our story, and one of the first things they told us? Get a blog! So here we are! We hope you’ll follow along as we discuss our vision for the future of Rowell’s, share industry knowledge, and hopefully make you laugh along the way.

Family Owned For Generations
Our company was founded 40 years ago in the early 1980s by Mitchell Rowell and his dad, Hubert. We started in Mitchell’s backyard with only a shed; today Rowell’s is located in Indian Trail after moving from our original shop in Noda 20 years ago. Built on a reputation of honest, quality craftsmanship, Rowell’s has grown substantially over the years. Hubert has since retired, but Mitchell has kept the business in the family with the addition of his daughter, Laura, and her husband, Tim.

When it comes to working with us, we believe you should expect two things: remarkable service and reliable results.
You wouldn’t trust your vehicle with just anyone… you want someone who knows what they’re doing and is passionate about your project, just like you! That’s why our mechanics and builders are certified, and our entire team lives, breathes and eats four-wheel customizations, off-roading and fleet vehicles. When you come to our shop, we won’t sell you something we don’t stand behind. And we won’t sell you something that we can’t deliver or wouldn’t install on our own vehicles.
You should also expect that when you take your vehicle off our lot, you won’t have to bring it back unless you’re ready for your next upgrade. We stand by our work so you can drive with peace of mind.

We take pride in thinking outside the box and looking for inventive ways to solve customer problems without losing quality. Sometimes parts are out of stock, or something might not go according to plan, but we won’t let something like that stop us! You have a dream of what your vehicles will do for you, whether it’s a dependable fleet of work trucks or a one-of-a-kind offroading powerhouse. We will rise to the occasion and build your dream.

Our work is custom vehicles done right, every time… but our passion? It’s taking the vehicle that you have in your head and making it something you can drive off our lot. Whether you’re envisioning a shelving configuration that meets your business needs exactly or you’re looking to chop up a Ford Bronco into the ultimate expression of self… we’ll help you get the crazy, wild ideas out of your head into our design programs and turn them into an actual, working vehicle. You could say we’re like the Frankenstein of custom building but with style and absolutely no screws loose!
