Helix Power Tower

Installation Instructions

(1991-1999 Jeep CJ, Wagoneer, Cherokee 4.0L I-6 Part #40005)

Important! Read all instructions before you begin installation.

1.      Remove the air cleaner duct from throttle body.

2.      Remove the four 6mm bolts from the throttle body assembly.

3.      Unbolt three linkage retaining bolts from the linkage bracket.

4.      Raise the throttle body assembly with the throttle linkage assembly and place the Helix Power Tower with the new gaskets in place and secure with the new longer bolts supplied with this kit. Torque the assembly to 10 ft/lbs.

5.      Install the three one inch spacers under the linkage plate and secure them down with the longer bolts supplied. Torque bolts to 15 ft/lb.

6.      Reinstall the air cleaner duct to the throttle body.

Note: you may notice an occasional high-pitched whistle while driving. This is normal.
