Helix Power Tower

Installation Instructions

(1996-2001 S-10/15 2.2L Part #22005)

Important! Read all instructions before you begin installation.

1.      Loosen the air intake bellows from the air cleaner assembly; loosen the clamp securing the air cleaner assembly to throttle body assembly. Then remove the air cleaner assembly from the throttle body. Undo the vacuum lines from the throttle body.

2.      Remove the four bolts attaching the throttle body to intake.

3.      Install the Helix Power Tower and in between the Helix Power tower and the throttle body insert the supplied gasket. Bolt the throttle body back onto the intake, with the Helix Power Tower, with the longer supplied bolts. Torque them to 12-15 ft/lb.

4.      Reattach the air cleaner assembly to the throttle body. Use provided relocating bracket and bolt to secure assembly. Make sure the clamps are secure and tight.

Note: you may notice an occasional high-pitched whistle while driving. This is normal.
