Installation Instructions

(1987-1995 Ford F-150/350 Pick-Up/Bronco 5.0/5.8L

1992-1997 F-250/350 7.5L V-8 Part #68005)

Important! Read all instructions before you begin installation.

1.      Remove the air duct assembly from throttle body.

2.      Remove the throttle cables from the throttle body levers.

3.      Remove the throttle cable bracket from intake manifold.

4.      Install the throttle cable bracket extensions to the intake manifold with the included hardware.

5.      Reinstall the throttle cable bracket to the extensions installed in step 4, to the intake manifold.

6.      Remove the four bolts from the throttle body and then remove the throttle body.

7.      Reinstall the throttle body with the Street & Performance Helix Power Tower and the two new gaskets and secure it in place with the provided longer bolts.

8.      Reinstall the throttle cables to the throttle body levers and reinstall the air duct assembly to the throttle body.

9.      Check the operation of the throttle linkage and insure the throttle lever rests on the idle stop before starting engine. If the throttle does not return to the stop, you will need to adjust the cable bracket until it does.

Note: you may notice an occasional high-pitched whistle while driving. This is normal.
