Installation Instructions

(1994-1995 Mustang 5.0L V-8 H.O. Part #50025)

Important! Read all instructions before you begin installation.

1.      Remove air cleaner duct from the air meter.

2.      Remove throttle cable, throttle lever, and the throttle assembly bracket.

3.      Remove the four air meter mounting nuts, then remove the air meter and EGR plate. (note: be especially careful not to tear or damage the EGR plate’s gasket, a replacement is not supplied with this kit)

4.      Remove and discard the existing mounting studs.

5.      Install the new air meter gasket, Helix Power Tower, and EGR plate using the four new bolts and washers supplied in this kit and torque the assembly to 10 ft/lbs.

6.      Reinstall throttle cable, throttle lever, and the throttle assembly bracket.

7.      Replace air cleaner duct to the air meter.

Note: you may notice an occasional high-pitched whistle while driving. This is normal.
